News Photos Prevention Training Events FAQ

If the origin and cause of a fire can not be readily determined by the suppression crews on scene, our Investigation Division is contacted to respond for assistance. Our Fire Investigators inspect the fire scene and develop theories and form conclusions as to the origin and cause of the fire. Information can then be forwarded to our Fire Prevention Inspectors and Fire Safety Educators to perhaps prevent future occurrences. Our Investigators also work closely with local law enforcement agencies to insure that people intentionally igniting a fire for criminal mischief are found and prosecuted. The investigators work normal office hours Monday through Friday and can be reached at 329-2536. Our Investigation Division is trained to conduct background investigations and administer Forensic Voice Stress Analysis exams to suspects.
