ORDINANCE

STATE OF LOUISIANA

CITY OF MONROE                                                                         NO.  11,896              

            The following Ordinance was introduced by Ms.  Woods                        who moved for its adoption and was seconded by Mr.  Wilson                        :

            WHEREAS, the contract between the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 407 expired and the parties have been working toward a new agreement; and

            WHEREAS, the parties have reached an agreement, which is attached hereto;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Monroe, Louisiana, in legal session convened, that the collective bargaining agreement effective the  27th       day of  November    , 2018 through December 31, 2020 by and between the City of Monroe and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 407 is hereby adopted.

            ORDINANCE INTRODUCED on the  13th    day of  November                , 2018.

NOTICE PUBLISHED on the  16th        day of  November                , 2018.

            This Ordinance having been submitted in writing, introduced and published, was then submitted to a vote as a whole, the vote thereon being as follows:

            AYES:            Echols, Ezernack, Woods & Wilson

            NAYS:            None

            ABSENT:       Clark

            And the Ordinance was declared ADOPTED on the  27th    day of  November          ,

2018.
