Mission Statement

To provide First Quality Vehicle and Equipment services to include maintenance, preventative maintenance, oil & lube service, fueling, tire repair, body repair, painting and welding services. These services are provided on the 650 vehicles and 350 pieces of equipment owned and operated by the City of Monroe.

Goal

To maintain the City of Monroe vehicles and equipment in the most expedient and cost effective method while keeping accurate records to determine useful life and exact cost of operation.

Objectives

1. To repair vehicles and equipment correctly the first time in for a repair and have less than a .05% return for corrections.

2. To have a down time of less than 24 hours for 90% of the vehicles and equipment being repaired.
3. To extend the useful life of the vehicles and equipment by providing good preventive maintenance.
4. To provide services in every area so that a minimal amount of outsourcing is used.
5. To conduct at least 4 recurrent training seminars during the next 12 months.
