The Inspections Division shall be charged with the responsibility of making inspections on new construction, additions and alterations of buildings. The plumbing, electrical, building, gas and heating & air aspects of jobs will be inspected, whichever, is applicable. The Inspections Division also inspects buildings where new businesses are opening or moving to another location. These inspections are made to ensure the public safety and well being of the general public.
